Spin Time Watches
First unveiled in 2009, Louis Vuitton’s patented Spin Time movement created a whole new way of telling time. Every 60 minutes, two cubes spin around instantly: the hour that has just ended rotates to return to its resting position and the new hour rotates to reveal its previously hidden, embellished side. Both playful and technically advanced, this unique, innovative calibre exemplifies the Maison’s approach to watchmaking.
Tambour Spin Time 15
15 years after the pioneering debut of Spin Time, the Maison celebrates the anniversary of its first patented movement from La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton by unveiling two limited edition timepieces. Showcasing a distinctive LV cube at 3 p.m o'clock, these watches are imbued for the first time with the historic colours, brown and yellow, of the Maison.
Tambour Spin Time Air Quantum
By using cutting-edge technology to elevate traditional High Watchmaking, Louis Vuitton has added a radical new dimension to the signature Spin Time complication. Illuminated on demand thanks to micro-electronics, the Tambour Spin Time Air Quantum’s hour cubes emit a mysterious light, audaciously reimagining the fundamental tenets of fine watchmaking.
Tambour Spin Time Air Vivienne
The Maison’s playful Monogram flower-inspired mascot enlivens Louis Vuitton's high watchmaking world with the Vivienne Spin Time Air. Instead of cubes, miniature versions of the mascot rotate to display the hour, creating an endless and enchanting dance around time.
