- Palm leaf's irregular texture is part of the fibre’s natural charm. It also highlights the special savoir-faire required to weave it. The uneven surface is not a flaw, but a natural feature of the material, a witness to its journey through time. Woven palm leaves should be treated with care. As the material may alter slightly over time, it is recommended to avoid repeated rubbing. Should the piece become soiled, clean it gently with a soft, damp and light-coloured cloth. Never use solvents. Dry the piece immediately with a soft, dry cloth so that the palm leaf fibres do not absorb water and swell. Finally, if your piece comes into contact with corrosives such as sand or salt, clean it gently with a soft-bristled brush.
- Avoid contact with hand cream, hand sanitiser, make-up and perfume.
- When not in use, store the item in the dust bag provided with your purchase. Do not store in high temperatures, high humidity or unventilated areas.
