Fashion Eye Geneva

£46.00

Through the creative lens of Paris-based photographer Paul Rousteau, Louis Vuitton's Fashion Eye gives the colours of Geneva a fresh, warm tone. The vast expanse of the sparkling blue lake and the beige-hued façades exude a sense of Mediterranean joie de vivre, inspired by the photographer's teenage love for a girl from the city. Featured in magazines such as the New Yorker, and displayed at the 2016 edition of the Rencontres d'Arles photography festival, the work of Rousteau is uniquely vibrant. In his return to Geneva for the House's Fashion Eye series, the photographer uses his impressionist-like style to invite a sense of escapism. Blurry and overexposed, his images are infused with delicate hues and luminous bursts of captivating colour. Following the Louis Vuitton City Guides and Travel Books collection, this third edition of the Louis Vuitton Fashion Eye collection celebrates some of the world's most exciting places through the eyes of the world's best fashion photographers: from up-and-coming artists to celebrated names. Each book features a selection of large-format photographs, infused with the vision of the artist at hand, and is accompanied with biographical information, an interview or a critical essay, evoking the House's rich travel heritage.
