City Guide Arles Edition Speciale
For the seventh year, the Louis Vuitton City Guide is alighting in Arles with an update that pays tribute to the Provençal city and its world-famous Rencontres de la Photographie festival. For this special edition, Louis Vuitton has chosen the places that best reveal the city’s many facets and reflect its spirit, from historic monuments to Gypsy bars, from local specialty shops to recently opened hotels. Along with a foretaste of the programme for the Rencontres, highlights include the favourite addresses of starred chef Armand Arnal, previously unpublished photographs of the city and the surrounding Camargue region by Flore‑Aël Surun from the Tendance Floue collective, plus a portfolio of new images by the Paris-based artist Nhu Xuan Hua.
The Louis Vuitton City Guide spots trends, gives advice and tracks the changes transforming cities. Exploring the world’s leading metropolises for over 20 years, it takes an offbeat look at fashion, design, contemporary art, food and culture in 35 cities, including Paris, New York, London and Tokyo. Writers and guests from all walks of life provide a completely subjective view of the most beautiful hotels, the best restaurants, the quirkiest shops and the most famous historic places.
