Offered in a hand-picked selection of the finest exotic skins, each Capucines bag is crafted using rare materials of the highest quality, chosen for their complex, unique nature, varying sizes and singularity.
The Capucines combines refined details such as a semi-rigid handle secured by jewel-like rings, – a nod to the Maison’s historic trunks – while the rounded flap recalls the petals of the iconic Monogram flower.
Personalisation has been an integral part of Louis Vuitton's DNA since it was founded in 1854. For an even more exclusive offering, the Capucines crafted in an exotic skin may now also be customised with the option of choosing the colour from a palette of matte and shiny shades, along with the metal hardware and lining. A customisable patch can also be added to create a unique product. Last but not least, true connoisseurs can enjoy a premium offering, with a choice between three crocodilian species: Alligator, Niloticus and Porosus. This exclusive personalisation service creates an exceptional Capucines that is sure to delight collectors.
The Capucines’ elegant design belies its technical complexity. Requiring more than 250 entirely hand- executed steps, the Capucines is a perfect example of Louis Vuitton’s artisanal savoir-faire.
