    Embracing the celestial spirit of the Men's Spring-Summer 2019 Precollection, the Galaxy capsule plays with graphic representations of our galaxy and beyond.

    Plunge into deep space with the Galaxy capsule of the latest Louis Vuitton Men’s Ready-to-wear collection, now available in stores and online. Pushing the outer space theme of the Precollection to its furthest dimension, the capsule features undeniably galactic graphics and motifs. This celebration of the cosmos is most notably brought to life in the striking multicolour planet pattern. Printed onto luxurious wool blend knits as well as lightweight silk and compact cotton jersey, this seasonal pattern sends the capsule beyond our solar system. Denim has been given a Milky Way effect through a discharge print technique involving scrubbing some parts of the fabric with bleach and colouring others with silver pigment. The Surface Planet print, created from an enlarged detail of a painting of a planet’s surface, is interpreted onto a variety of materials, from a leather safari jacket to technical nylon board shorts.

    On the occasion of Paris Photo (November 8 to 11), Louis Vuitton invites you to discover its publications and pop-up bookstore located on the left-hand side of the Grand Palais stairway of honour.

    With its City Guide and Fashion Eye Series, Louis Vuitton explores photographic creation while celebrating the Art of Travel.

    Both mirroring trends and setting the standard, with great attention to cosmopolitan transformation, the Louis Vuitton City Guide has explored the most magnetic metropoles for nearly twenty years. Today, thirty cities are revealed through unexpected perspectives on fashion, design, well-being, contemporary art, gastronomy and culture. Original photographs illustrate the Louis Vuitton City Guide, a vision entrusted to the photography collective Tendance Floue, who reinforce the singular point of view represented in these tomes. Patrick Tourneboeuf is the author of the photographs featured in the 2019 Paris City Guide, as French photographer Françoise Huguier shares her favourite addresses this year. During Paris Photo, the digital version of the Paris City Guide is available for free on the App Store.

    With Fashion Eye - a series of photography books - Louis Vuitton evokes a city, a region or a country, seen through the eyes of a fashion photographer. Title after title, a broad compendium of perspectives emerges, one that shifts with the destinations, including urban panoramas and natural landscapes, scenes of local life, and more contemplative work. Fashion Eye creates an unprecedented dialogue between emerging talents, seasoned photographers and fashion photography legends.
