• MEN'S SPRING-SUMMER 2020 SHOW: PLACE DAUPHINE

Virgil Abloh presented his Louis Vuitton Men's Spring-Summer 2020 Collection at Place Dauphine in Paris.

On Place Dauphine, a routine stroll across the Pont Neuf bridge from Louis Vuitton's studios, the postcard scenery of Paris sets the frame for the Men's Spring-Summer 2020 show. The mundanity of everyday café life, walks across the Seine, crêpe stands and tree-lined square ambiance harmonises with the typical ideal of boyhood bliss: a bouncy castle, ice cream, balloons and kite-flying. The show was surrounded by the remarkable Parisian architecture we couldn't live without.

Upcoming exhibition - From 19th June to 29th September 2019

The Fondation Louis Vuitton presents for the first time a significant selection of works from its Collection at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow: sixty pieces, by over twenty French and international artists, produced between 1947 and 2018.

This "Hors les murs" presentation represents the Fondation's commitment to modern and contemporary art. The curatorial choices for the exhibition have taken into account the specificities of the Pushkin State Museum and the exhibition features a variety of monographic series and powerful works from different media.

Two spaces are dedicated to the Fondation's architecture by Frank Gehry. Models, drawings, videos and panoramic photos are displayed, allowing the Russian public to picture the Fondation as an architectural entity, as well as in its Parisian environment, at the heart of the Bois de Boulogne.

Collection of Fondation Louis Vuitton: Selected Works is presented in conjunction with another exhibition devoted to the Shchukin Collection. These two prominent collections will help visitors trace the similarities and differences in the collectors’ approaches and the evolution of contemporary art collecting from the early 20th to the early 21st centuries.
