Louis Vuitton celebrates the most emblematic symbol of the Maison through a selection of its most modern bags.

Since 1896, when Georges Vuitton first designed the Monogram pattern, Louis Vuitton’s iconic canvas has proven to be eternally youthful, unfailingly modern, and renowned throughout the world.

Today, the enduring motif is constantly reimagined and reinterpreted across all the Maison’s designs, including more recent shapes: the Montaigne, the Dauphine, the NéoNoé, the Pochette Métis, the Petite Malle and the Boite Chapeau Souple.

  • WOMEN’S SHOES FOR FALL-WINTER 2019

Louis Vuitton highlights three bold yet versatile styles that set the tone for the Women’s Fall-Winter 2019 Shoe Collection.

Nicolas Ghesquière paid homage to the Centre Pompidou and the surrounding Beaubourg neighbourhood of Paris with his Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2019 Collection. For this season’s shoes, Louis Vuitton carries on the bold spirit of the Collection with three stand-out models.

Featured prominently on the runway, the chunky LV Beaubourg platform derbies combine feminine and masculine influences. The Rhapsody boots reference classic motorcycle boots while incorporating key details such as engraved studs or white eyelets, a recurring detail through the Collection. Finally, the LV Archlight Trainers, one of Louis Vuitton’s most recognisable styles, have been reimagined in both this season’s black-and-white tweed as well as the signature primary colours of the Centre Pompidou.

Animal prints enliven the recently introduced Monogram Giant print across a selection of bags and accessories in the newest Louis Vuitton capsule collection.

Bold, graphic and a little wild, Monogram Jungle is the most daring interpretation of the classic Louis Vuitton pattern yet. Whether on the emblematic Neverfull bag, the oversized Onthego tote or the modern NéoNoé bucket bag, the new motif offers a playful alternative to the iconic Monogram canvas, in bright autumnal tones.

Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Collection, as seen by Japanese photographer Kenta Coboyashi.

The prismatic representation of the rainbow has been a strong leitmotiv for Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh since his debut Collection for Louis Vuitton last year. For Fall-Winter 2019, pieces take on a futuristic edge that is further highlighted thanks to Kenta’s innovative lens. The Taiga Rainbow motif and show-stealing fibre optic Keepall come alive in these images shot against the backdrop of the photographer’s native Japan.

  • WOMEN'S FALL-WINTER 2019 POP-UP IN LONDON SELFRIDGES

WOMENS FALL-WINTER 2019 POP-UP IN LONDON SELFRIDGES - Louis Vuitton Fashion NEWS
Louis Vuitton is delighted to unveil the Women's Fall-Winter 2019 collection by Nicolas Ghesquière at an exclusive pop-up store in London Selfridges, open from 18th July.

The pop-up honours Louis Vuitton's Fall-Winter 2019 collection, in which the old and the now collide.

First presented last March at the Cour Carrée of the Louvre within a recreation of the Centre Pompidou, the Fall-Winter 2019 Collection is one in which the debate is deliberately lively, just like the emblematic building that inspired the runway set.

The collection speaks to a vision of fashion, when one is sure of one’s potential and knows with conviction that this is the path to follow. This collection is an invitation to cultural references, featuring “Refinery” sweaters and “Carcass” dresses. The Monogram and the Damier oscillate on accessories in equal time. A graphic juxtaposition surfaces on the new “Monogram LV Pop” and the beginnings of the “The LV Arch”, a bag as classic as it is knowledgeable.

The pop-up space dramatically features special designs recreated from the runway show.

Address: 400 Oxford Street, Ground Floor, London W1A 1AB
Open 9:30am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday. 11:30am to 6pm on Sunday.
