NICOLAS GHESQUIÈRE COLLECTION FOR HARRODS SHOE HEAVEN
On August 1st, 2014, Louis Vuitton opened a standalone Shoe Salon within the Harrods Shoe Heaven, presenting a unique selection of Women shoes, leather goods, textiles and fashion accessories.
For the occasion, the house has launched an exclusive and limited editions collection of shoes and accessories from Fall 2014, the first collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière.
Limited edition, the ‘Eternal’ and ‘New Day’ models have been reworked in an exclusive blue leather Crocodile skin juxtaposed against the classic Louis Vuitton Vernis leather.
Those two iconic models highlight the rare savoir-faire of the house. Their banana heel structure is a true shoe-making tour-de-force. The laces around the ankle of the boots recall the internal trunk straps and require one hour of stitching. The sandals are embellished with a “V” accessory.
