The exhibition has been created as a sensorial journey, venturing deep into the designer’s mind and the artisans’ heart. An adventure along the emotional corridors of Louis Vuitton.
All the rooms depict different parts of the designer’s mind; from the geodesic dome referencing the structure built for the fashion show at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, in homage to the architect Richard Buckminster Fuller; the artisan’s room, unveiling each craftsman's movement as one of an artist, or the Accessories Gallery, featuring Marte Mei van Haaster’s multiple avatars and the accessories from the Fall 2015 collection.
Throughout the exhibition visitors discover how Nicolas Ghesquière has been embracing the past to shape the future of the brand.
Held at 180 The Strand adjacent to Somerset House, the exhibition will be open to the public with free admission from 10 am to 8 pm, from September 21st to October 18th, 2015.
